Writing means different things to all of us, for some it’s the passion that it brings to us, for others, it’s the connection it makes you feel. Writing can spawn so many emotions and reasons from just being a hobby to making it your life’s work, to some writing is how they communicate best, to others it’s the only they know how to release what is on their minds.
WHAT DOES WRITING MEAN TO ME?
I write because I can
I write because it makes me feel
I write because it makes me cry.
I write because it inspires.
I write because others love to read.
I write because it heals my mind.
I write because it helps others
But the most important reason I write is that it heals my mind
Writing is a medicine in itself
Writing has been around since year dot, it is part of how we communicate, but it is also a great healer of the mind, it has been my aid for many, many years, and I don’t believe I would be around today if it wasn’t for my love of writing.
Writing has kept me calm and taken me out of depression, it has given me objectives, positives, and goals, writing has quite literally saved my life. I know this all sounds dramatic, but writing is not just about storytelling
I write better Than I talk
