Every summer has its own story. There is something about summer that causes us to feel alive, adventurous, and more relaxed than any time of the year. We take vacations, spend more time outdoors, and perhaps dance in the summer rain at times. I know my husband still likes to stomp in a puddle to see if he can get me all wet, all the while sporting a childlike grin!
But, like all things, summer comes to a close, and soon we welcome the smells and sights of fall. We’ll be leaving behind the beach, sun, and water activities wishing it would never end.
Summer represents expression, freedom, and vitality; while fall is the season of transition and remembering our joys of the past as well as what lies ahead in the future.
The pictures we have taken, the memories etched in our time with family and friends, creates a storyboard of our life’s journey. As each season travels into the next, we are moving along our own pathways.
The lazy days of summer can be hard to let go of while the shift into the cooler weather and darker days comes upon us.
Here are 3 ways you can hold onto your summer!
- Create a collage of the best times you had and find a frame at the flea market that is unique and fun. Hang it in place highly visible. Share this with your friends and challenge them to do the same. Take a picture of the collage and post on FB.
