Wind penetrates clothing warm,
Raining limitless there is no sun,
No shining disk that brings us light,
Hides behind the clouds finite,
Looking upward treetops search,
For winter’s light unseen,
Trickling down naked branches,
Glistening moss welcomes moisture,
Feeding hidden roots beneath.
Viewing closer Universe anew,
Moss itself forest green,
Reality, imagination frees the mind,
Mother Nature’s gift supreme.
Attention drifts to sound anew,
River waters flowing gently,
Caressing heart and soul as one,
Togetherness senses bonded,
Sun doth shine a signal true,
Winter trees afford a glance,
Gracing eyes, distant hills,
Floating through fauna fine,
Imagination as if on cue.
Drifting body and mind to witness,
Beauty blessing every season,
Gratitude a feeling strong,
Mother Nature embracing new,
Universe and stars change not,
Night sky doth offer brightness.
Forever grateful we on earth,
We look ahead, mind enraptured,
Rain has stopped we are captured.
Now is the time to wander clearly,
Signalled by instinct and sky ablue.
Next, we venture, Season’s change,
Every season blessed anew,
Birds chatter exchanging concepts,
Interpretation offers freedom,
Nature’s secret, She will hide,
We on Earth do Nature love.
All Seasons greeted mystery alerted,
Curtain open heart flows of grace.
Rid of bondage time of glee.
Summit we have climbed a won,
Never take for granted thee.
Good timing for publishing Simon. As we say goodbye 2020 and begin . . . anew . . .

Simon, This is so beautiful. Words that embrace and make us pause and reflect.
Larry, That is most kind of you. I have say it was written from the heart and can still visualize the scene as if walking along the pathway.
Much appreciated.
Thank you,
Simon
