Some American citizens state their hate for their country in public, so one wonders what they are doing privately. There is an alarming disrespect for the flag. During patriotic holidays, few even hoist the flag anymore. Most of those who do are veterans. When you see these flags flying at night, with a light shining on them, you get a wonderful feeling that you are proud of being an American.
When some see a military person, it gives them great pride to greet them and thank them for their service. This truly is an act of patriotism. Many are come back wounded and suffer the double injury of being forgotten. Secrets are leaked for self-serving reasons, putting our agents and our troops in jeopardy. This is not patriotism.
