Out of chaos comes clarity.
I believe life expresses itself through our experiences, the good and the bad. No matter the extent to which we are stretched, it seems we find the path that will ultimately lead us to safer grounds.
Consider what your journey has been up to this point. Have you not overcome, conquered and succeeded to do what was necessary at the time? Perhaps it required some kicking and screaming, or it may have unfolded with a little discomfort. But you learned something, you became more aware, and you now know what choices to make for a better tomorrow.
When something happens beyond our control, the hidden strength from within winds its way to the surface. The warrior spirit engages, and you fight to survive.
The mind must find ways to justify and make sense of the upheaval, while the heart beats the drum keeping the rhythm of the surreal flowing forward.
As I listen…
As I observe…
As I live through my own day to day experience…
The thing that stands out the most is the amazing shift occurring on the individual and the collective levels. The gift of giving has become status quo, along with the deepest desires, not having been fully divulged in the past, to be connected in real and authentic ways, is the new way of being.
A jump from one level to the next is not always easy in our evolution. We may try to hold onto what we knew while trying to adapt to where we are being guided.
Extending a hand up across the globe is such a magnificent sight! To imagine the possibility that we could indeed be the change we all have been wanting for so long. Has our wish been answered?
What do you think?
I ponder and marvel at the mysteries of the universe. The unimaginable ways we can take a chaotic experience and turn it into a positive. Make the impossible, possible. I do believe where we go from here is on this path and together, as a collective, stand with each other in strength, in power, and in fortitude. I welcome your thoughts, musings, and visions of the future. Imagine what part you play in this masterpiece, a well-written play.
All the world’s a stage.
Will you lead?
Will you create?
Will you step out of your comfort zone?
Will you look at others differently?
Will you slow down?
Will you speed up?
And the list goes on…
Let yourself be drawn by the stronger pull of that which you truly love.
~ Rumi
Where do we go from here?
I love this Eileen. I am often excited about climbing the hill because I may be inspired when I see whats on the other side.
Thank you Larry! Glad you love this musing of mine. That is something to look forward to as part of the climb. Hope you are enjoying retirement!!
Eileen, I love how you invite us into possibility and wonder amid these troubling and uncertain times. I continued to be uplifted by the awakening I see happening personally and for and with others to see differently so we may create better together.
Brian, thank you! That was one of my goals, to get readers to seriously contemplate how they will take this time as an opportunity to truly be the change. Now is better than ever! Agree, the awakening is profound and hopefully enough people have crossed the threshold of no turning back for the new way of being to take hold. I believe you are correct that this is a call to action to create better together (the key word!). Thank you for sharing and happy you like the article, my musings of life and living. Cheers!
Thank you for sharing, Eileen!
Helen, you are welcome!
Well described Eileen. Our journey, and sometimes it’s uphill, level, and a bit downhill, to the right, to the left! For almost two years I’ve been working to push myself out of various comfort zones; trying new things… trying to completely let go of a past reference, that wasn’t what I wanted; that wasn’t completely me… also trying to make good connections, make better relationships with those around me. This is a very good article. Thank you for sharing.
Laurie, thank you and you are most welcome. It seems the journey is what makes us stronger and who we continuously become, because of it. Letting go can be a difficult task, stepping into our authenticity and defining the boundaries. The best version of ourselves evolves, giving others the opportunity to learn respect, to value who we are at the core and what we have to offer. Surrounding yourself with those who lift you up and provide good feeling experiences is a gift you give to honor you. Keep on “pushing” through and over time this wonderful shift you are having will transform into a way of being, without the need to try! Stay safe and be well. Cheers!
Thank you, Eileen, for sharing the beauty and power of your words. Take care, stay safe and well.
You are welcome Joel. Same to you and yours!
