I spent years of my life chasing “THE DREAM.” The perfect career, job, husband, house, etc. Chasing money literally killed my passion. Chasing love led to failed relationships and attracted people who didn’t value me. Chasing people’s approval turned out to be a waste of my time and effort in most cases. 🤯
It took me way too long to finally figure out that I wasn’t getting what I truly wanted in my life because I was playing out someone else’s idea of who I should be. ⏲️
Often people attempt to live their lives backwards: they try to have more things, or have more money, in order to do more of what they want so they will be happier. The way it actually works is the reverse. You must first be who you really are, then do what you really need to do, in order to have what you want.

Did you know that the number one regret people on their deathbeds have is that they did not live out their own dreams? 💯
So, before you start chasing the dream, make sure that it’s your dream you’re chasing.
