While drinking my first cup of coffee this morning, listening to the city birds singing their song, an interesting question pops up in my mind. “Are you committed to your heart’s desires, or do you allow old beliefs and thoughts to sabotage them?”
I sip the hot liquid carefully and allow a thought loop to happen. Sure, we all have them, those dark voices that echo you will never, you are not good enough, not worthy, or the circumstances right now make it impossible for you to… (fill in your heart’s desire). I sure did and still do at times!
Focusing on the ‘want’ does not mean we do not acknowledge there are doubts and old beliefs in our heads sometimes. Staying committed to me and what I want means, seeing the thought arise, loving it as it is only here to be seen as something old, something we as a child experienced or inherited from our parents on a subconscious level. It arises from our hard disk where it was stored, so it becomes visible for us to see that that was then, this is now.
Now I can choose consciously to get back in alignment again.
How I do that?
1. Writing down or out loud acknowledging “Everything is possible” … “The Universe contains all, therefore ALL is here already” helps me tremendously in times when doubt creeps in. Isn’t this the wonderful truth? All the right people, all the money, all the opportunities are here already! I find this such an exciting idea!
2. Go with the flow
Seeing that life sometimes shows you experiences that seem to take you away from the want, but are necessary to learn something else first, that will benefit you once you are in the want.
3. Getting in vibrational alignment
Getting in vibrational alignment happens when you write down your “WHAT IF DAY” in your journal as if it already happened or is happening. Scientists proofed that 75% of what we write down becomes the truth. When we write stories like that, a few things happen:
1. We see the images of our life
2. When we see it, we feel it
3. When we feel it, we become the same vibration of the desire
4. When we are the same vibration, we attract the same people, things, and circumstances
5. and we suddenly SEE the opportunities.
They were always there, but when we look with the eyes of ‘lack’, we see the lack. When we are in alignment with the want, we see the opportunities that will manifest the want.
4. Action
Although the law of attraction can bring people to our doorstep in miraculous ways, I also believe that taking action is setting things in motion. Only meditating under a tree visualizing I am a great film composer will not make me one. I need to learn, practice, record and be in contact with other musicians, producers, filmmakers in order get placements of my scores and soundtracks.
So what can I do?
I make lists of people who already live the life I want and connect with them. What can I offer them? How can they benefit from my talents and gifts? Cause if I only connect with them because I need something, the energy is off and I am back in lack again. It is all about balance.
I could make this list much longer with things to do or not do in order to commit to myself, like not being distracted by others, but I have found out, that when I make it too long, I get lost in the options. The most important thing is to stay true to you, I discovered. And sometimes that means reminding myself daily to stay committed to me, to what I feel, see and desire. That my thoughts, actions and feelings are in line with that.
A blackbird in the garden agrees with me, taking me out of my loop with his beautiful song and I am back in the room. With a smile on my face, feeling in alignment with myself, life, love, joy.
Have a wonderful day dear reader.
Wherever you are.
