IT BAFFLES AND befuddles me when events such as the ones that have been unfolding as of late have prompted little of no response from the American public or in some cases the international community. On the domestic front we have the ever-growing and disconcerting issues of “transgender rights” “ aka I can pretend to be a gender that I am not and use any bathroom or locker room I choose even though anatomically speaking I have no business being in that facility!”
What are we thinking and why are we not speaking out more vocally against this dangerous sexually permissive practice which is clearly an abomination to G-d? How can it be that a male is allowed to use a bathroom or locker room” belonging to females just because they claim they consider themselves to be of that gender? The same holds true for females who consider themselves to be male when they are clearly not of that gender.
What are we thinking and why are we not speaking out with more forcefully and with more conviction when we are being told that the Elementary Public Schools are teaching (yeas actually teaching) our children that they can “pick” whatever gender they wish to be. Who gives them the right to shove this poison into the minds of young impressionable children? Too many silent or squeamish voices are prevalent!
While on this subject which has obviously riled me up along with other righteous thinking individuals let take this issue one step further. What happens if somebody who is pretending to be the opposite gender by dressing up as such wanders into the incorrect facility and commits acts of perversion or worse yet commits an act of rape or turns out to be a pedophile. What are we thinking and why aren’t we speaking out?
Those on the other side of the issue can claim that a rape can occur almost anyplace even those committed by those who are not transgender.While there is validity to this argument it can be counter pointed out that what we are doing by allowing these people to roam free into any gender specific facility they choose and do whatever they please. Yes, these people have rights but like the rest of us rights do not mean you can do as you please whenever you please.
Our American society was built on values that are supposed to hold true through today. Liberalism is becoming the death knell of this country as evidenced above. When we were growing up we were taught and learned respect for our teacher, parents and others. The Pledge Of Allegiance was recited every morning in every school throughout this country, Today it is rarely recited as we are afraid it might offend a group of people who do not belong in this country to begin with. Once again I must ask what are we thinking by allowing this occur and why aren’t more people speaking out.
This has been the nastiest most hotly contested Presidential election in modern history. Money is being paid in large sums to prevent people from getting to Donald Trumps’ rallies. These same people are being paid to start race riots at these events to make Mr. Trump appear as if he is inciting them which is clearly not the case. When the right of free speech is taken away in the name of preserving the status quo in Washington there is a problem. Each candidate has the right to hold their rallies (expect for Hillary Clinton) and voice their opinions and platforms. If it were another candidate being thwarted in this manner would we speak out?
Hillary Clinton is seeking the Democratic nomination for the Presidency of the United States which is our highest elected office. Hillary Clinton also has the blood of three American on her hands from he role in Benghazi. Mrs. Clinton has been under FBI investigation for quite some time now and would have been in jail had it not been for the interference being run for her by President Obama. Hillary Clinton like President Obama is a sworn enemy of the State of Israel who are our most trusted and loyal allies in the Middle East as I have said on prior occasions. Having said this it must be asked where is the outrage and the call for justice to be served.
When a bus is carrying innocent people is bombed in Jerusalem injuring over twenty people with at least three critically you have to wonder why there was such a lack of outrage. The question is it because Israel is the “Jewish State” unlike almost any place in the world. Wouldn’t a similar incident in New York City (G-d forbid this should happen) receive more attention or would the Liberal Media sweep that under the rug as well so as not offend those responsible for the attack?
Israel is being attacked almost on a daily basis by terrorists using all methods at their disposal. Their goal is to inflict as much carnage as possible to as many people as possible as often as possible. As great of an ally and friend Israel has been to the United States under the Obama Administration it is far more important to “normalize” relationships with countries that are run by bloody dictators. Here again we fail to raise our voices much above whisper.
Criminals are allowed to purchase and carry guns while law-abiding Americans are told to give up their guns a clear violation of the 2nd Amendment. Except for a few press conferences by the NRA and perhaps a few others people are almost waiting around for their guns to be taken.
With all that is going on perhaps people are too disillusioned or numbed by the crumbling of America right before their eyes to say something. If this is indeed the case this is the greatest travesty of all to sit idly by and allow this to happen to all of us. I have raised my voice and now it’s time to hear yours.
Joel: I quite agree. Our country is rapidly sliding into the crapper and we are sitting on the sidelines watching. Part of the problem of course is that our electoral process has been hijacked by the two major political parties and the media.
I’m convinced that writing to the editor of one’s local paper or to a member of congress will no longer have any impact. We are at, or fast reaching, the point where only mass revolt has a chance to force a course of corrective actions.

Joel, I too find it depressing and alarming that we have been so numbed and dumbed down that we simply take these events and changes in our culture as routine.
It is interesting that use of restrooms was never a big issue until a sports figure, helped by our liberal media, made it an issue and has made millions of dollars in the process. While I don’t agree with a lot of what Cruz says, I do agree with his question of “have we all gone nuts”?
The list of issues that we have blindly accepted is almost endless, not to exclude twice electing a man to the presidency that has absolutely no background or qualifications for that position. We won’t even mention how much tax money he and his family have spent on personal vacations. His ego is so big that wrecking our country hasn’t been enough, he is now advising Great Britain on whether or not to drop out of the EU. What audacity !

Your comments hit the nail on the head. Obama has done so much more damage to this country than just the huge sums of money he and has family have spent on their vacations and his jaunts to Cuba or wherever else he goes that he does not belong. The bathroom issue in a way was a good thing that it was exposed so hopefully before the liberals take things even further it can be stopped as it has been in many states already.
