Laura, I must commend you on this article as it is incredibly creative. If that was not enough your recipe has a high concentration of vitamin inspiration. Happy New Year!
Thank you so much, Joel!! I appreciate all your kind words and I’m grateful to know you enjoyed this one! Happy New Year to you, too, my friend!
You are welcome , Laura. Happy New Year
Laura I absolutely love this.
Thank you so much, Larry!!!
Love your ingredients Laura. Isn’t it amazing what makes us, us!? We are indeed complex! And unique but similar all at the same time. Add most of the things in your list and a few others in mine and we’re really full of it!! (I mean that in the best possible way). Thanks for sharing!
Oh, thank you so much, Mike! Yes we are indeed “full of it!” in the best way! Yes!! I hope and trust there are overlaps with other human beings-the ingredients that we share! And You are very welcome. My joy and delight. Merry Christmas!
Laura, great recipe and way to look at life in a fun way! I can definitely identify with many of your ingredients and add a few more. Kind of makes me chuckle to consider where I have been and continue to go when looking at it from this creative perspective (the sweat, tears and joys). Thank you for sharing your wonderful artistic expression!! Cheers! Eileen
I’m so grateful you enjoyed this, Eileen-and that you could see that you could add your own–and please know you could create your very own list!! I wish you a fun holiday season and much joy in 2020!!
Yes, absolutely….creating my own will be a fun creative way to map out my journey so far!! So much has happened and more to come. 🙂 Thank you for the holiday wishes and joy in 2020….same to you! Cheers! Eileen
Laura, I love the passion and positive outlook in your article.
Thank you so much, Joel!
You are welcome, Laura. Happy Holidays!
The recipe for a delicious life, Laura!
Yes, I believe so! Thank you, Kimberly!!!
Wonderfully creative musings, Laura! I love the recipe of you. Thank you for sharing this delightful look into your cupboard. We all have a variety of ingredients that mix – sometimes sweetly, sometimes savory, and sometimes sour – to make us who we are. But the best part is the recipe exchange that happens here and the invitation to sit, dine, and learn from one another.
Thanks for such a light-hearted yet meaningful post this morning!
Ah, you are so welcome, Laura! My joy! I’ve been inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his quote about being judged by the content of your character. His words, his life vision inspired this creative musing. And Yes-I love your nugget: “We all have a variety of ingredients that mix-sometimes sweetly, sometimes savory, and sometimes sour-to make us who we are.” Yes, indeed. Thank you so much for your kind, thoughtful reply and contribution. Feels good for me to be light-hearted now and then! 🙂
And just when I think you can’t get any better or more original, Laura!!!!!!!!! Wowsa, wowsa. Laughing, I am.
I share much of what you have there, probably in different amounts / proportions, but I also have more than my share of hard-ass broad. Yes. Seriously. She lives, breathes, and ensures I don’t get too caught up in stuff that’ll end badly. Mostly, anyway. She doesn’t play well with others, even to this day, although she’s not as rigid about some things as she was when I was younger.
LOVE your list!
Oh, I’m so thrilled you enjoyed this light-hearted recipe-and yes, a chance to reflect on those ingredients inside of yourself-to own them and celebrate them-When we embrace all those parts and pieces of ourselves we can communicate this to others in a way that they can celebrate. I personally experience you as someone who “plays” really well with others. I wouldn’t be on this platform if it hadn’t been for your invitation to “play” in this incredibly fun sandbox called BizCatalyst360. Just my thoughts to you, my friend! Thank you so much for all that you are. Grateful that this brought laughter to you-especially when you’re posts regularly make me laugh. Enjoy the upcoming holidays, Susan! (I did not grammar check this reply-LOL! please forgive any errors!)
And that’s one of the changes in my life as I grew older and actually a bit wiser, Laura! Trust me: I did NOT play well with others for 90% of my life up to now. I was the kid who would take her toys home because the other kids wouldn’t play whatever game it was MY way. I am serious here; I was a true brat.
I wish for you and yours a wonderful, warm, and joy-filled holiday season, Laura!
