We’re Not ‘Returning to Normal’ The Same

There is one good thing about going back to our routine, and that is seeing the difference between then, and now. What’s changed from before the Corona, and after the Corona days; the difference between the old and the new.

We were given the opportunity to review these two states from the outside looking in, like someone who momentarily leaves the body. We may soon return to exactly the same routine we had before the Corona, but since we underwent such a significant process, we received a new perspective for examining our life.

We are returning, but different.  A new point for reviewing things has been born inside our hearts and minds.

Some questions to reflect on:

Is it good and right to live as we did?

What allows us to live like that?

Why not continue working from home?

Is the survival of the fittest war really necessary?

From reviewing things in our heart and mind, we will know how to change.

Many changes are likely to emerge up ahead, but the starting point will always be before the Corona, and after the Corona.

  1. So you are getting the lesson/s from this consciously – which is nice to hear! I don’t know if the masses see things that way – they may be flocking back to all the shopping, etc. even though much of that stuff is really not necessary for our happiness. Thanks for commenting here and on Linkedin!

  2. Josia this is important for those who went out to work. I was already working from home most of the time. The covid only made my life more difficult due to getting out to get food… the times and finding a uber/Careem driver available. Still, I’ve had some revelations about where I am and how I’m doing it and what else I could do and probably should do… The time of covid. TOC? has let me think about the important things vs. the unimportant. And: I’m very glad I have been careful with my $ because that is #1. Life is unpredictable.
