My work isn’t always easy. It can be overwhelming at times. It can also be exhausting – I’m dealing with the emotions and personal experiences of other people. Challenging the status quo comes often with a steep emotional toll. I have learned how to handle my emotional exhaustion before it turns to burnout.
Often, I go where I feel most alive and spend time in solitude.
Yesterday, I went to the ocean just to enjoy the sound of waves on the shore. The sight and sound of waves at the beach have an incredibly calming effect on me. Watching the sun set behind the blue waters literally took my breath away. It was a magical experience.
The most unexpected thing happened as I listened to the waves within me. I literally felt my heart opening up again after such a long time. It was a moment of deep growth for me as I courageously ventured into the waters of my heart.
As I dove deeper into my heart, I started feeling this overwhelmingly intense energy with me. I felt alive again.
Love is the most powerful force in the Universe. 💯
