Hi, I’m Tina! Yes, I also love my name! 😁 I’m still a puppy, yet I had the first litter. I was living in a house under construction with the janitor who had helped me until one day the owner decided that he no longer wanted me in his house, for whatever reason my little brain couldn’t understand… I was such a good girl and the house won’t be ready before a few months.
I decided to come back to my pack, especially since my temporary Momma took care of their food and health needs. I knew it wouldn’t be easy to be accepted after many months of living outside the tribe. I became a stranger, but I’m a warrior and I couldn’t give up on trying. Unfortunately, my mother and sister ended up attacking me so violently that they hit my trachea. My mommy took me to the vet as soon as she knew about the incident. I was between life and death for the first five days of my stay at the clinic.
Momma found my two fighters on day 5 after checking for 3 days and letting go with a heavy heart. She fought for my babies since the vets were skeptical and couldn’t believe my kids could have not been dead after 5 long days while they weren’t even 2 weeks old.
I’m guessing it’s all they know and I don’t blame them! Anyways, Momma made our reunion possible after a 30-minute negotiation; for this, I can’t thank her enough! We will still be at the clinic until Friday, the 14.
Momma spent almost two weeks looking for a foster or final loving family for the three of us without much success. She was concerned for 3 main reasons:
- Last time, I was saved miraculously. It wasn’t an option to come back to my tribe.
- Momma has a tiny apartment and no way to welcome and protect us.
- Her financial situation is critical. She has accumulated thousands of debts, so far. Last night, a friend introduced Momma to a new shelter owner who kindly accepted to take us! The Universe seemed too small for how overjoyed Momma felt! She’ll be driving us to the shelter on Friday. It will be a 3-hour trip and I know it will feel totally worth it to Momma despite the risk of breaking her car.
My babies and I would highly appreciate it if you could help cover the expenses! You may find the vet bill above along with my photo for the pleasure of your eyes!
