Our parents raise us, guide us, encourage us, educate us and motivate us. They shape our character and along the way they mold our values. Their love and memory leaves us with an indelible imprint that only time can teach us the true value of. Our parents saw culture shifts and evolution yet remained unwavering in the voice of truth, equality, fairness, empathy and what is right. They are our beacons of light who even when darkness surrounds, they remind us to imagine the possibilities of the future. Our loved ones may be gone, physically yes, but they are always near and as I think about this full circle, I realize that their best traits have always been with me.
Whether it’s a new beginning or the end, both entrance and exit can be raw and beautiful. Delve into the quiet moments and be open to receiving the messages. I honor their passage and channel their spirit, for strength, for courage, and for resiliency.
To those of you who have been beside me, my angels 1st and foremost, thank you for showing me the beauty and grace in all of life’s stages.
Synchronicity was first introduced by analytical psychologist Carl Jung, as early as the 1920’s, but gave a full statement of it only in 1951 in an Eranos lecture. Jung defined synchronicity as an “acausal connecting (togetherness) principle,” “meaningful coincidence”, and “acausal parallelism.” Jung believed life was not a series of random events but rather an expression of a deeper order, which he and Pauli referred to as Unus Mundus. This deeper order led to the insights that a person was both embedded in a universal wholeness and that the realization of this was more than just an intellectual exercise, but also had elements of a spiritual awakening. From, the religious perspective, synchronicity shares similar characteristics of an “intervention of grace”. Jung also believed that in a person’s life, synchronicity served a role similar to that of dreams, with the purpose of shifting a person’s egocentric conscious thinking to greater wholeness.
“Unus Mundus – Latin for “one world”, is the concept of an underlying unified reality from which everything emerges and to which everything returns.” Many people believe that the Universe or God causes synchronicities. Among the general public, divine intervention is the most widely accepted explanation for meaningful coincidences. Faith in something Greater provides them with a cause.

Hey Suzana, I think we were in some of the same classes at UHK- University of Hard Knocks. What a great article and Thank-you for being a part of our WOF and BIZCAT family. I believe synchronicities are life’s dots, and like the stars in the sky, when connected, created an amazing picture worth a thousand words. Thanks for being one of my dots.
Hey Kathleen, yes it would appear that there are many from this University… the best has been appreciating the “riches” that we have — our faith, self, relationships, resources, discoveries and experiences.. As for your comments, I am both humbled and honored by your love and support, Thank you for being a guiding light and being one of those dots to many. Truly inspired!
I am doing a ditto to both your comments Kat and Suzana. The dots have it! What a beautiful picture is being created.
Raissa, thank you 1st and foremost for your feedback, and also for your magical paintings/writing that create that beautiful picture. Cheers!
Thank you for those kind words Suzana. I love reading your work.
Thank you Kathleen, I am really touched! We can be our own worst enemy sometimes….as someone recently told me….”It is of the upmost importance to understand colors of life.” I’m learning! Thanks again!
