Sitting down at the table, you place the napkin in your lap and wait politely for someone to spoon the food into your mouth. You’re not refusing to eat, you just don’t want to be responsible for feeding yourself. You stay at the table for all of eternity, refusing nothing and accepting everything but gaining little.
