This song and video was inspired by a recent move and sale of our home and being grateful for so much over the years …it is a reflection of the chapters and seasons of our lives and that, we have more that unites than divides us…as children grow up and we experience both good and difficult times, we become stronger and more beautiful together. The memories are hidden beneath things we can’t always see…yet we could say metaphorically, the walls in our homes have seen and recorded it…as the saying goes “If these four walls could talk.” “To us, our house….had a heart, and a soul, and eyes to see us with, and approvals and solicitudes and deep sympathies. It was of us, and we were in its confidence and lived its grace and in the peace of its benediction.”

Thank you so much Carolyn…that means so much as an artist and songwriter to hit those raw nerves…music and lyrics have such a powerful way of touching the heart and emotions.
Powerful yet beautiful recording!

Thank you so much Amy for taking the time to share how the song touched your heart – that was the goal and message of the song and video. (:
Lisa,
What a beautiful recording and video!
We recently moved from our home where we raised our children. You have successfully hit every raw nerve I have around the move.
It was the most meaningful chapter and season. Thank you for sharing your story and your amazing talent!
