Getting to Disneyland Paris: Disneyland Paris is accessible by road, train, and air. If you’re coming from Paris, you can take a train from Gare de Lyon or Marne-la-Vallée. If you’re coming from other countries, you can fly to either major airport and then take a shuttle bus or a train to Disneyland Paris. We took the Disney shuttle bus for convenience which took about 40 minutes to arrive at the
When to Visit: Disneyland Paris is open all year round, but some months are busier than others. The best time to visit to avoid crowds is from September to November or from January to March. Our September trip avoided the crowds and long lines.
Attractions: Disneyland Paris has over 50 attractions, from classic rides like Space Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean to new additions like Ratatouille: The Adventure and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. If you’re traveling with young children, head to Fantasyland, where you’ll find rides like Dumbo the Flying Elephant and It’s a Small World. If you’re a thrill-seeker, go to Adventureland and try the Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril roller coaster.
Restaurants: Disneyland Paris has over 70 restaurants, ranging from fast food joints to fine dining. If you want to dine with Disney characters, book a table at Auberge de Cendrillon or Inventions. If you’re looking for vegetarian or vegan options, head to Hakuna Matata or Fuente del Oro Restaurante. Don’t forget to try the famous Mickey-shaped waffles and churros. We enjoyed the bar and restaurant at Disney’s Newport Bay resort as well as in-park eateries.
Disneyland Paris is a magical destination that offers something for everyone. Whether you’re a fan of Disney movies, roller coasters, or good food, you’ll find it all at the park.
Plan your visit accordingly, and don’t forget to book your tickets and accommodation in advance. We had a fast pass for one day in the park which was enough for two adults to ride all the fast pass rides (off-season).
Accommodation: Disneyland Paris has seven hotels on site, ranging from budget-friendly to luxury. If you want to stay in a Disney-themed hotel, check out the Disneyland Hotel or Disney’s Newport Bay Club. If you prefer a more affordable option, consider Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe or Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch. You can also find off-site hotels or vacation rentals near the park. We stayed at Disney’s Newport Bay Club which was a short 10-minute walk to the park. During the evening we explored all the Disney theme accommodations which provide other restaurants and a beautiful walk.
