Nothing can prepare you for trauma, but trauma. That’s the uncomfortable reality.
All the time spent worrying about terrible things happening, will not help you if they do. It’s just wasted time.
And if the day comes, when the worst does happen, you will cope.
So, please don’t waste the good days worrying about the bad ones. Trust that you will find a way through them when and if the times comes.

Nik, you are a woman with the same heart thoughts as my own. I use to worry, (whatever that word means) and I know, but no longer. Life is life, we deal with that which comes to us and hopefully we have the mind that can handle the things we face. I know in my heart that there are many who have difficulty adjusting to things that bring pain and suffering, and I wish I could change that, but for me the peacefullness comes in knowing my God and what I beleive. I pray for all here and past. Love your words
