One of the core principles underpinning the quality of intention is the law of cause and effect. In simplest terms, it speaks of the impact of a choice, an action, a decision, a behaviour, an attitude, and how that plays out in our world.
Most of the time we travel along without paying too much attention to this law, often feeling that whatever appears in our life, ‘good’ or ‘bad’ must just be ‘one of those things’ or down to luck in one form or another. Occasionally we may think more deeply when something extraordinary happens and reflects on the whys and wherefores of that event – maybe even thinking about our part in it and the role we played in bringing it about.
Underpinning the law of cause and effect is the science of ‘energy follows thought’. Where we place our attention is what we will reap.
Quantum physics has demonstrated this very powerfully through many studies. On a lighter note, there are many ‘happiness’ gurus who will teach us how to focus in a positive way on what we want to attract into our life – money, home, partner, etc. The Secret was a hugely successful book, film, and programme centred on the law of attraction.
At a deeper level though there is a more constant and ongoing responsibility behind the quality of our thinking, the clarity of our intention setting, and where we place our thoughts. Instead of selfish, material desires, what if we consciously placed our attention on being more ‘causal’. In other words, really seeing that how we are, what we think and do, and the choices we make have impacts, often wide-ranging.
We can make a shift by…unearthing limiting beliefs, placing our attention on our ability to contribute to something bigger by the quality and nature of our thought life and the power we bring to that. And by…setting intentions that are soul-inspired and for the greater good rather than personality need to be inspired.
This is the joy of being consciously ‘causal’ and even though we may not see where our intentions have an impact we can trust in the ripple of energy that emanates from us, joins with others’, and that uplifting impacts will result.
Well said, great words of wisdom : )
A lot to put to work in our journey!
Thank you
Billy
Thank you Billy…it does indeed require work…sometimes it feels tough but in all…it’s joyful to know that ever fibre of our being is focused on bringing only high vibration impact to the world.
