In my childhood, I came across a story of a master exploring the desert with his camel, and at night, he slept in a tent while the camel was outside. The camel gradually managed to make a passage of his head inside the tent and warm itself owing to the cold. The master felt pity for it. Gradually the camel entered its whole body and forced the master to get out of the tent. The message is clear that if you show pity to one who is unable to realize what is exactly pity and empathy, the fallout will be disasters. I guess, there is needed to be an understanding about the matching of wavelength and if we ignore it, it is obvious that we have to pay the price of it.
Once in my own known domain, I allowed a person to explore. He assured me of a due package and asked me to help him in order to achieve his desired goal. He simply hoodwinked me. As a superior to me, I extended my all possible support to comply his assignment, where he promised me with a due package along with a certain portfolio to facilitate him to achieve his aspiration. The moment he got momentum regarding the concerned project, he first oust me from the project only to take the credit of the successful completion of the project. Besides the rampant corruption he exercised utterly flummoxed me. I could not envisage how low a man can be just to assert his mundane goal!
Thereafter I deliberately resigned from the concerned project, rather he forced me to resign through his dirty politics of nepotism. When I lodged a complaint regarding him to the superior, surprisingly they endorsed him instead of me. I felt sheerly humiliated and finally withdrew from the concerned project.
The inference I drew from the above incident, the constraints of a camel comparing to humane which humans alone perhaps possess! On the contrary, humans too possess a mind to think, perceive, and have the capacity to cause harm to their own fraternity, unlike any other creatures.
I evidently realize thereafter, the gravity of a tent in a desert in the cold night and what measures are needed to be taken for a human to adapt and suffice. If we are only governed by emotions then we are surely beckoning our own jeopardy. Besides, I strongly believe that managers, who are focused only on instant gain, they will surely not be able to sustain for a longer period and their success are ephemeral which they could experience within their tenure of assignment evidently.
I wonder about the consequence being emerged after the rising Sun to emerge in the horizon. How the master eventually behaved with his pet companion and how the camel ultimately sustain! Whether they maintained a status quo or separated from each other perpetually for the rest of their voyage in the desert.
Humans can write stories, but the camel cannot. Human only possesses vengeance, grudge, and ecstasy, while the camel only craves to survive by following the command of its master. It does possess the duality of attack and defense or any nefarious ploy just to sustain and survive.
We poor humans sometimes are forced to adhere to a policy being crafted by the managers just only to eke out like camel and our masters, who usually claimed as managers with their skill and self-admired inclinations make our life miserable. Are they truly admired as leaders? They too are blind like the master of the said camel, unable to fathom the potential of a camel, who actually navigates him in the desert. They are just focused on their only goal to seek profits of their own as well as for their organizations, hardly bothering the workforce who are the main driving force for their wheels of profits, and ignoring them will only hasten the process of scripting their own obituary. They only remain as a dead or decaying element in the pages of human history!
