I‘m super-excited for this episode – we are celebrating that 10 episodes of Showing Up: Perspectives On Cancer are now available in audio form on Spotify. Find them here. A huge thank you to Katy Simpson for editing all of these podcasts – it was a monumental undertaking.
On Episode #91 of Showing Up: Perspectives On Cancer, we are going to have at least three guests (they are all back!) – Ashok Bhattacharya, Kara Onorato, and Brianna Shelko, and they all speak from the caregivers’/family member’s perspective. The reason on invited them onto this show is because their episodes are all now on Spotify. We’re going to ask how they are doing and what have they been up to since they’ve last been on the show.
Another reason to celebrate is we have a new co-host – Shannon Lee-Sin. I met Shannon at Podfest in January, she attended the in-person Showing Up event recently, and she was the guest for the show at the in-person event unexpectedly after James Kiesewetter came down with the C word (but not cancer). Shannon has a huge heart and passion for helping the cancer community. I love her energy, and she’s a lot of fun. Let’s all show up to support Ashok, Kara, Brianna, Shannon – and each other.
To support the show, you can make a contribution at https://www.buymeacoffee.com/timsohn. Every dollar counts. It takes a lot of work to put together this show every week – helping cancer patients and survivors let them know they’re not alone and to encourage them to share their stories. Appreciate you all so much.
