Surviving Stressful Situations

Dearest hearts you must realize that living in the physical state in the illusion of separateness is stressful to begin with so when you approach an unusual situation or a challenging situation with an unknown outcome the first rule we ask that you apply is kindness and compassion. Instead of becoming short-tempered with yourself for over-reacting or under planning, understand that life as a being functioning under the belief of separateness is stressful. Now, from this place of greater understanding, take a step back and give yourself a moment to breathe. Just breathe in and out, require nothing more from yourself than that. Just give yourself permission to breathe with presence.

When you take the time to breathe before you take any action you give yourself a chance to regroup and reevaluate the situation

Once you have succeeded in establishing a rhythm within your being of a steady pattern of deep breaths you will have given yourself two precious commodities: Time and space. When you’re faced with a situation that appears stressful or that causes discomfort, the automatic response is to thrust it away, ignore it or try to make the situation into something else, less threatening or stressful. When you take the time to breathe before you take any action you give yourself a chance to regroup and reevaluate the situation. Stress comes from not knowing, from feeling overwhelmed and from believing that you are powerless over the situation. Responding to that fear with the task of regulating the breath will push you into a state of calm and from that place of calm, you may then proceed to the second phase.

Call upon your angels for help. Stress comes from the belief that you cannot do anything to correct the situation. Everyone who has ever been in a stressful situation knows that there are always many viable options available but when you feel stressed, you may not be able to think of them.

Your state of stress renders you immobile and causes you to focus on all that’s wrong instead of all you could do to remedy the situation.

When you ask for help from your ever-present assistants in the energetic realm, you’ve accomplished several things at the same time. First, you’ve overcome the inertia of stress. Second, you’ve made a choice to be proactive and third you’ve demonstrated to yourself that help is near and a solution is forthcoming. From that place of reinforcement, you’ll find it easier to discover workable solutions instead of additional hoops to jump through. We ask that you understand that nothing, not an answer, a helping hand or a resource is ever withheld from you but there is a requirement. Before you can receive the assistance you desire, you must believe it’s available to you and be open to receiving it. Stress cuts off the natural channel of receiving. The breath and the act of asking with the expectation of receiving both help to restore this balance.

Whatever problems you’re facing, whatever situation your trying to resolve can wait but your well-being cannot

Once the breath has calmed you and the act of asking has reconnected you with your universal power source you must leave the outside world behind and go within. Whatever problems you’re facing, whatever situation your trying to resolve can wait but your well-being cannot. Moving back into the breath, take a moment and close your eyes, let your body relax and allow the tension to drain from your body as you place your attention on the heart. This is your center of life, this is your center of wisdom, this is your connection to the Divine. It is from this place that you will find the solution you seek. It’s imperative that you enter the heart without resistance and without a foregone conclusion. You are going into your sacred heart center to be renewed and revitalized in the way that only the Divine can bestow. Take as much time as you need, everything will wait and all will be better served by your willingness to take a moment to align and connect with the Divine.

This is your place of peace. The breath brought you to a state of calm, asking for help brought you a sense of support, entering the heart will bring you to a place of peace. From this calm, supported, peaceful place you will begin receiving insights and ideas that will help you step away from the situation that’s causing you stress and into a circumstance that feels loving and supportive on every level. Staying immersed in the state of stress causes you to act irrationally and without thinking through your actions. This then causes the situation to worsen and causes you additional stress and so on until the whole problem implodes in on itself and the cycle begins again from a new beginning point. When you step away from what is and into who you truly are. You step out of your individual state of vulnerability and into your collective state of oneness where you know that you are always safe and loved. In this place of union with the Divine, all stress falls away, that which you believed as capable of hurting you is now seen for what it is as new insight takes the place of old worry and fear. Stress, the belief that you are powerless to make an effective change to your situation, cannot prevail in your life when you honor yourself by regulating the breath, as you ask for Divine support and enter the sacred space of the heart.

Return to the heart where all of heaven is waiting for your return

Instead of staying in the place of fear where the illusion of separation is capable of producing stress, it’s time to return to the heart where all of heaven is waiting for your return.
