I dance around the shadows.
I soak up all the rain.
I laugh into the mystery.
I jump at all to gain.
I sing without a key.
I stroke yet not with luck.
I give a box to charity.
I feel forever stuck.
I walk along the plank.
I guess except I’m wrong.
I choose the bitter fruit.
I play the old rock song.
I wear underwear to bare.
I squeeze into jeans that fit.
I bake a cake with chill.
I barbecue in the pit.
I doubt you’ll find an answer.
I guess I have no clue.
I care not of the outcome.
I surrender to solitude.
Larry, that is truly the nicest thing to know. Your friendship is beyond measurable value!
Cindy, my dear friend and poet. Solitude is where we find peace but in my voice you have a friend always near.
