And in the time of COVID-19, that’s a good thing for many Americans, many of whom are re-evaluating the way they approach using paper bills and coins due to health and safety concerns. A new survey by Travis Credit Union found that half are using less cash than they were prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, and more than half say they won’t return to using it regularly when it’s over.
