First the snowdrops then daffodils
Then primroses and bluebells follow
The first appearance of a swallow
All this in a sun-kissed woodland landscape
heralding the start of Spring
A gently flowing brook meanders here and there
Gentle scents, apparent in the clear fresh air
Birdsong abundant in the woods
Wrens and Blackbirds serenade us with their tune
And when night falls, the owl surveys the woodland floor
by the light of a glowing moon
A Kingfisher darts between the trees
His iridescent feathers shining in the dappled sun
Up high above Kites and Buzzards circle, dive and swoop
All of this enhanced by a clear blue sky and warm sunshine
Nature’s Perfection personified
Christopher, This is so beautiful.

You are very kind thank you for the encouragement

SO rich description, Christopher and you have such music in your descriptive words. I shoot with a camera, but you shoot with your words visuals of nature that are amazing.
I’m not sure if I said thank you for this very generous and thoughtful comment, if I didn’t, it was most remiss of me. I really appreciate the generous encouragement I have received. This in particular was quite uplifting
You have always been very generous, Christopher
Christopher,
Absolutely formidable. Visualization a natural instinct. You really do make our precious natural environment come to life.
I can certainly rezonate with your manner of descriptions. The come alive on reading, essentially facilitating a walk through countryside where myriad wild birds bless our world with color and song.
Brilliant!
