So What Has Trump Ever Done?

Vincent Viewpoints Header-vincent-kenI normally try to keep my posts short and to the point in deference to those that have minimal time for reading these things. So, I apologize in advance if this is longer than normal.

In watching a group of “political analysts” the other day, one of them asked, “So what has Trump ever done other than work the tax system to his benefit, which helped him build great wealth?” Well, that made me think. So, what has Trump really done?

trump_flagWell, for starters he whipped up on a dozen or more republicans in the primary run up, several of whom had the sponsorship and blessing of the Republican party. In doing so he has largely dismantled the power base and created an identity crisis in the party. He even managed to terrorize them by implying that he may ditch them and run as an independent.

He has highhandedly debunked the practice of rule by political families such as Kennedy, Bush, Clinton.

He has rattled Obama by vowing to dismantle his programs, put in place without supporting laws. He further has promised to trash Obama Care which Obama considers to be a keystone to his legacy.

He has disemboweled the main stream media (MSM) and exposed them for what they have become—a P/R adjunct to the Democratic party and liberalism.

He has exposed the fraud perpetrated on the American people by the Clintons and others.

He has created pure panic in the hallowed halls of D.C. power mongers and those career political hacks that make their fortunes at our expense. (I believe it was Harry Truman that said the only way to get rich as a politician is to be crooked.)

So, with that abbreviated list of accomplishments lets look at the current condition.[message type=”custom” width=”100%” start_color=”#F0F0F0 ” end_color=”#F0F0F0 ” border=”#BBBBBB” color=”#333333″]

  • We have riots, and bombs in our cities;
  • cops being ambushed;
  • no economic growth;
  • a shrinking middle class;
  • high unemployment;
  • massaged data produced by our government to hide the truth;
  • an unsustainable budget deficit year after year;
  • a national debt that has more than doubled in 8 years to a staggering $20 trillion;
  • more than 11,000,000 illegals draining the resources of our welfare, health, and educational systems;
  • the worst racial tension in over 50 years;
  • our core culture based on Christian/Judaism principles is in tatters, the effort being led by a tyrannical judicial system that we didn’t elect;
  • vets that can’t get the support and health care they were promised;
  • professional and school sponsored athletes refusing to honor our flag or national anthem and owners/administrators afraid to act; and
  • World opinion of our country at an all time low. [/message]
So, I ask you how much worse can it get if Trump is elected?
It is said that there are two ways to be fooled.
1. Believe what is not true, or
2. Refuse to believe what is true.
