Shining The Light Of Hope

Light of Hope Orphans Care Organization (LHOCO) Uganda is a registered community based and non profit organization that was founded in 2013 by Mugulusi Geoffrey together with other members with the aim to provide help and support for Orphans, Poor and Vulnerable Children in Uganda, who come from families that are affected by HIV/AIDS pandemic, malaria and extreme poverty.

These Children live in a state of severe suffering and misery without access to basic needs of life, this is because the parents who would provide have died of HIV/AIDS or malaria, some children are coming from families that have been struck by absolute poverty and we also consider providing help and support to children who come from very poor families that cannot even afford to provide basic needs of life to the children. The organization is committed to restoring hope for the orphans, poor and vulnerable Children by providing them with help for food, clothes, shelter, medical care, clean water, education, school supplies, spiritual support, counseling, and guidance.

Located in Buwenge Town Council, Jinja District Uganda, their mission is to improve the welfare and well-being standards, show love and restore hope for orphans, poor and vulnerable children through the provision of their basic needs of life. Their vision is to achieve self-reliance and sustainable development for orphans, poor and vulnerable children. Their objectives include:
