Being patronising is so easy. Just use fancy wording, glowing commendations, and rewarding individuals with a glittering number of adjectives designed to make an individual receiving such a glorious monologue glow with gratitude.
But in reality, such over-elaborate text is well beyond a normal ‘thank you’ or acknowledgment that projects genuine gratitude.
So how do you say a genuine ‘thank you to a person or persons who have ignited dormant creativity or inspiration?
A two-word acknowledgment would be insufficient. But listing the actual help and energy received would optimistically be received with sincerity.
