Every day I wake up by the grace of God. When I kneel before HIM in prayer each morning, I say the following:
Lord, thank you for allowing us to wake to a new day,
May we live this day according to Your Will and not ours
Thank you for today, yesterday, tomorrow and the next,
But if today is our day dear Lord, forgive us for hurting You
And others, and sinning against you, for you are the one true
God who made Heaven and Earth, let thy Will be done on
earth as it is in Heaven.
In this current day and age, I know that there are many who do not believe in God. They believe in a higher power, something of a mystery of sort, I guess. Who could possibly make our earth what it is, the animals, plants, oceans, humans with distinct (DNA)? None of these things can be produced from a molecule or evolve into themselves. Yet, some believe in something or someone other than the Creator Himself, and that’s the way it is. They do not like “Organized Religion”, they simply want to feel good when they go to worship, the more music the better, so none of this reverent stuff, dry homilies, the passing around of the collection plate. There is so much that is misunderstood due to lack of knowledge, understanding of the history of Holy Scripture in the true sense.
I am Catholic, (meaning of the word “Universal”) and I have read Bibles of other faiths so that I know how to defend my own. I don’t expect nor do I try to turn every person I meet into believing that they must become Catholic, but I do speak the truth and I am able to defend why I believe what I do. I have been writing for Bizcatalyst360 for nearly two years and have decided that I want to share what I know about my faith. If I find followers to comment, great. If not, that’s fine too as I write from the heart, and I write for HIS Glory. So going forward, I will write under the name of “A Soldier for Christ”, because I believe the times are in need of God’s Word. Regardless of how it shared, or who believes and who does not, as the souls are made from the one God who made everything. I welcome any and all comments, dialogue; I will ask God to bless each of those on this platform, especially those who have given us this platform, which is a blessing in itself.
