The season of candy canes, Santa and snow.
Teddy Bears, twinkling, and warm candle glow.
Baked cookies and pie, sweet fragrance in the house.
Little joys of Christmas from each toy to furry mouse.
Stories brimming on the shelf.
Porcelain Angel and little green elf.
Crackling fire and music box jingle.
Family and friends feel the warmth and the tingle.
Escape from the day to day toil and struggle.
To a life of renewal and new hope to juggle.
For this once a year magical time shall appear.
Giving hope to my loved ones; how I wish you were here.
In the corner of the night of this soft, special day;
May this blessing fill your heart, today and always.
Cindy what a beautiful poem. Thank you for sharing the gift of your words.
Larry my friend, I always enjoy your feedback and truly thank you for your positive comments and support. I hope you have a Merry Christmas! Cindy
When we talk about hope, we often refer to what is not in human power and which is not visible. In fact, what we hope goes beyond our strength and our gaze. But the Christmas of Christ, inaugurating redemption, speaks to us of a different hope, a reliable, visible and understandable hope, because it is founded in God.
Merry Christmas!
Aldo, and there within we find the true meaning and power of the holiday. Thank you for your insight. Cindy
