Right Here – Write Now

Who wants to become a writer? And why? Because it’s the answer to everything. … It’s the streaming reason for living. To note, to pin down, to build up, to create, to be astonished at nothing, to cherish the oddities, to let nothing go down the drain, to make something, to make a great flower out of life, even if it’s a cactus.

—Enid Bagnold

I’m a writer.  I think.

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t (write, that is).  Sometimes I love it.  Sometimes I hate it.  I’ve written a book (ten times, in my mind).  Sometimes I’m motivated to get to it (for real).  Other times I’m not even close.  Perhaps you can identify with this inseparable/contradictory/complementary push-pull dynamic?

Group connection, exploration, and conversation help us writers write what’s right for each of us individually.  One powerful place to do so is within the 360° Nation community.  The topic of writing is no stranger to the community.  Many within are expert writers.  Others are aspiring writers searching for their path forward.

With this, WRITENOW 360° is born in collaboration with 360° Nation.
It’s a monthly gathering of writing SMEs (subject matter experts) as well as wannabes.  No judgement.  No permission required.  No application to complete.  The price of admission is simply “be there” in full mind and heart.  Share.  Listen.  Learn.

That’s it.

Write Now.

Now is the time to have the conversation—just as Write Now is the time to write your book, article, or blog post.

It’s never too late.

What will you we experience together? Questions, insights, and wisdom re:

  • How to begin
  • The art of storytelling
  • Overcoming the resistance within
  • Editing
  • Publishing
  • Distribution
  • Gramer ;)
  • The reader’s viewpoint
  • The writer’s viewpoint
  • The publisher’s viewpoint
  • How to engage in writing-fueled conversations online around the world
  • That’s just the starter kit.

Topics and themes will evolve based on what the participants want.

And by the way—you are the participant.

In fact, in time, you are also co-creator and co-host.

Writing will be the focus, but big ideas and philosophical questions will occasionally hitch a ride.

How & How Often?

Jump on Zoom for 60-minute WriteNow 360° gatherings on the last Thursday of every month at 1:00 PM Eastern.

Whether you’re a new writer beginning your voyage of discovery, or an experienced writer seeking to hone your craft or share your wisdom of experience, this monthly gathering is for you. Join us as we come together to share the “write stuff”.

Craig James
Craig James
Craig is a curious Writer, Conversationalist, Coach and Business Advisor. He believes the world can be a better place if we have the courage to conduct the conversations we need to have—and if we share wisdom and ideas with love and a spirit of abundance. He craves ideas. The serious credentials? Craig spent many years in the I.T. industry as an executive—leading business and technical teams. Unisys and Sun Microsystems (now Oracle) are on the list of companies for whom he’s worked. His experience has equipped him to bring insights as a Business Advisor and Strategist (via CatalystStrategies/Cat-Strat Services). Leadership, Business Development, and Strategic Planning are sweet spots. He also helps leaders-of-leaders tap their own wisdom via Executive Coaching. Coaching is quite the passion for him—and increasingly—his practice includes healthy doses of Career and Life Coaching (Who isn’t reevaluating and reinventing themselves these days—right?) Cat-Strat, the firm, was founded in 2001. Currently, Craig is Co-President of the Northeastern Ohio Chapter of Conscious Capitalism. He and his business/life partner (Sue James) share the role. His most recent podcasting activity is as Host and Co-Executive Producer of “Big Audacious Idea”—a podcast about the greatest questions of the human experience. Hiking, guitar, skiing, golf, and reading are some of his favorite activities (not all at the same time), and indulging in exceptionally bad puns remains a persistent and irritating habit. 1. Great idea Craig I’m sure it will be a success. I’m a bit camera shy, but perhaps I will join at some future time. Going to be out of town most of month house sitting for my niece. And sister is visiting from out of state so I won’t make it this month for sure. But you never know I may pop in. Thanks for offering this opportunity for helping writers.
