A DECADE+ OF STORYTELLING POWERED BY THE BEST WRITERS ON THE PLANET

BE PART OF THE LEGACY

TAMPA BAY • FEBRUARY 23-24 2026

This FINAL encore experience will be unlike any other. Because like everything we do, it's been "reimagined" from beginning to end. It's not a virtual or hybrid event. It's not a conference. It's not a seminar, a workshop, a meeting, or a symposium. And it's not your typical run-of-the-mill everyday event crammed with stages, keynote speeches, team-building exercises, PowerPoint presentations, and all the other conventional humdrum. Because it's up close & personal by design. Where conversation trumps presentation. And where authentic connection runs deep.

Reviving Hope

It was early dawn when I checked my inbox messages on LinkedIn. The surprising and pleasing message I received from Dennis Pitocco read, “Congrats upon having your inspiring “Faith in Self to Accept Change” published within Mission Hope, my friend! Great storytelling.”

Like dawn that peers dark so the message of my friend Dennis made me feel. It awakened my realization that small acts when combined can overwhelm the world with their bright light.

The dark waves of hopelessness spread but then small acts make the waves glow.

This is the beauty of the e-book “Mission Hope”. It is a collective effort by twenty authors to make the gloomy clouds glow and the dark waves sparkle with hope.

In our VUCA world, people are falling in despair. They feel depressed. The words they repeat are similar to there is no hope. Life is merciless. Nothing shall change for the better and things shall only worsen. These people need help to bring hope back. Sharing our experiences in which we fell into similar situations but then hope emerges are the rays of hope these people are waiting for.

The fact that the book is a No. 1 bestseller is evidence that people are waiting for hope in spite of what they say.

People who crippled their lives with negative thinking are in most need of help.

Remember that the darker the situation gets the better the light of hope shall be. It is like stars on very dark nights. The effects of the lightening of the stars shall become more evident.

The more stars there are the better. Let every one of us be a small star but collectively the effect of the stars shall be greater.

Plant hope in a world that feels desperately gloomy.

Be hope planters.

I dedicate this post to Char (Charlotte) Murphy, Esq.  I do so in respect of her effort to pool many great ideas from leading writers and compile them in a book of hope.

  1. Thank you Prof. Ali for involving me in a topic to which I have often dedicated myself in the past.
We cannot lose the unique thing that keeps us alive: hope.
Despair, the absence of hope, is the inability to see ahead to a future that is worth to meet.
Hope means just believe in a future of joy promised, is like receiving an advance of that joy and wanting to continue to get its fullness. It should be possible to leverage its own resources, and to find other ways to tell his own story to oneself, enlarging it, finding explanations and alternative viewpoints. If I change my story, I will change myself and also my vision of the future, and I can make room for hope.
The reality is that without hope, concepts like vision, purpose, aim, objective, target, creativity, critical thinking, strategy, tactics, plan, development, aspiration, ambition, achievement, success, accomplishment, fulfillment, remedy, building, solution, results, education, and science would have no meaning.
I understand it’s not always easy to do it by yourself, but one can try!! And if we can do it with others we trust it is much, much simpler and more beautiful.
Looking at the current world (but I believe that this is a useful concept always and for everyone) the time has come to consider hope as a product of human beings and their faculty that must be cultivated and refined, and which takes care of the world as end and horizon. See hope as a direction in which we want to go, rather than considering it only as a judgment on the probability that something will happen. In short, a sort of “active hope”, which means acting and making choices in support of the version of the future that one hopes will come true: caring for the world in action.

    • Your valuable comment Aldo Delli Paoli offers a great thought that we need all to comprehend.

“See hope as a direction in which we want to go, rather than considering it only as a judgment on the probability that something will happen.”
Honestly. in our turbid world we need to understand this thoroughly.

Depriving people of hope and active one is a certificate for death
