Remember me the way I was
And the good times that we had
I’m sorry that I had to go
We’ll meet again
Please don’t be sad
It’s not how many days you live
But rather: “it’s how well”
Many Life stories have been told
Mine’s just one more to tell
Perhaps I’ve taken life’s blessing
And pain – Up to heaven with me
Granted, some things will forever
Remain …a total mystery
Earthly angels don’t be blue – I
Know I’ll meet again with you – For
God would never take away – The
Love and joy you’ve brought my way.

Here’s to another heartfelt thank you Eva ~ I love that you take the time to give me some feedback. I was such a mess back then inside – trying so hard to hide my true feelings especially from my four teenage daughters. But it go t better as I dived in deep to taking an interest in my prognosis and started living more and celebrating my friendships etc.
Time for a coming out party for this poem and many others. Grateful, Loreexx
