Putting Kindness Into Action

A film by The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation.

Most schools have academics as a core and focus on developing character as a secondary motive. However, the Kindness School has a different approach to student learning. The Puget Sound Community School in Seattle, Washington is a 5-day-a-week school rooted in helping kids from grades 6-10 learn about character and kindness. There are no required academic classes, but classes where students take subjects that interest them. In addition to academic classes, the students are taking classes that help develop their character within their school and community as a whole. Students get to go into their community to help spread love and kindness to learn how to put their kindness into action.
