I am inspired by the trials in life and the circumstances in which myself and the people I know find themselves. I am inspired by art, love, and pain. I’m inspired by the idea of overcoming and being resilient. My music all stems from feelings and experiences that I have been through and that other people can relate to. This particular song was born out of people making assumptions about who they think I am without actually knowing who I am.
