See beyond the packaging
Of a person into the heart
Of hurts and hopes with
Compassion,
Quiet empathy,
Gentleness,
Glasses if you are
Nearsighted, farsighted.
Can you witness the beauty, grief,
Loss, fatigue, spark, sass,
Radiance?
Look closely,
Patiently like
You are watching a
Baby turtle emerge from its
Shell; a
Mother black bear foraging,
Coaxing her cubs up a tree;
A tiny hummingbird resting briefly
On a dead tree branch then
Whirring its wings in hovering
Flight at the edge of a
Flower filled with deliciousness,
Delight.
What awakens inside
When you observe, feel,
Sense from a soft in the
Sockets view?
Who could others become
When they are in your
Loving
Presence?
