Planet of One

Here I sit on this Planet of One; Leaned up against the Father and Son.
We spin through the galaxy on pivotal change.
I ask for forgiveness with life rearranged.
The sky opens wide to a myriad of stars; Far away wonder from Feathers in Jars.
Juice is the fruit from all of the flavor.
Anxiety keeps me from crowds that I savor.
Will it ever be possible to dance in the rain?
Can I give up the ghost of a past full of shame?
Never can I judge another greater than me; I carry my baggage as a claim to history.
Yet I look up to those who traveled before me.
They connect to a line of infinity.
My purpose has many layers at best.
On this Planet of One I am only a guest.
Sooner or later my time will appear and a life well lived will pass through the mirror.

My Poetry, Photography, and Journals hold treasure from grade school to high school to adult school, which I'm still attending ... just waiting for the final grade. Each layer of life reveals a new truth and with age, it becomes apparent that time is my greatest rival. My hope is to reflect with words and pictures that offer comfort, insight, and wisdom for a life well-lived with peace and tranquility in the end.
