On on-going question posed to recruiters is about how they started in the business. For me, it was nearly 25 years ago and looking back, I can unequivocally assert that while I thought I was really intuitive and knowledgeable about people back then, in comparison I am a far better recruiter today at 50 – and I’ve noticed how I’m continuing to improve as the years pile on (better understanding of local, regional, global business, and functional trends).
