A film by Life Vest Inside. Video from KarmaTube
What goes around comes around. This charming short film depicts the ripple-effect of kind acts — the way in which receiving an unexpected moment of generosity from a stranger can cause us to become more aware of the needs of those around us and to take action to become a vector of goodness.
Notice when we watch good things in action, it brings us calm and happiness. I was smiling as I watched the film. Such an important message, for kids to learn how to create happiness is to make others happy. It’s not about ‘me’.
I loved this!, so simple to do, so rewarding to do. I use to tell people when I worked the streets as a cop that what goes around, comes around, good or bad, but often, more good than bad.
Wonderful. I was raised to ascribe to a view that kindness was okay, just be careful that you don’t reveal too much of yourself or make yourself vulnerable. This was not so much spoken as practiced. The formula? Kindness = vulnerability = risk. How often do we apply “risk analysis” based on old lessons which are rooted in fear? It’s taken me more decades than I care to count to understand that vulnerability is a sign of courage.
Thanks for the insight.
