People love doing “the wave.” At sporting events and concerts around the world, it begins when a few people stand and raise their hands. A moment later, those seated beside them do the same. The goal is to have one sequential flowing movement work its way around an entire stadium. Once it reaches the end, those who started it smile and cheer—and keep the movement going. The first recorded incident of the wave occurred at a professional baseball game between the Oakland Athletics and the New York Yankees in 1981. People love doing the wave because it’s simply fun.

  2. “As long as there is life, there is hope “, says a well-known proverb from Cicero, one of the greatest writers of ancient Rome.
    It is an exhortation not to despair, especially in difficult situations such as the one we are experiencing in recent weeks with the Covid-19 health emergency. We must keep thinking positive and hoping, because what we have been waiting for for a long time could one day come true.
    As long as we are alive we can make our dreams come true, the situation can improve and resolve itself.
    Hope is a universal phenomenon that occurs wherever there is humanity: it is made up of a tension full of expectations and hopes that they will materialize, as well as a lot of patience in waiting for the future.
    For me, hope is the strength of our life that drags the world. It is the engine that makes us fight, move forward, wait, dream. Hope to live, hope for a better future, hope for something that perhaps will never happen, hope that Covid-19 will stop quickly, hope to return to smile and color our lives with real emotions. Hope that this whole situation will serve us as a lesson and that the world will become better.
    Hoping also means getting excited, mixing joy and fear, and tying them in a double thread to a future event that we would like to see realized.
    In these dramatic weeks I invite you to dream for a moment that life will smile at us, giving us what will become the glow of a memory.
    Let us cling to the thread of hope and the strength we have within our hearts; falling asleep, we think that tomorrow, or the day after, a better future will begin to emerge, that we will be able to defeat Covid-19, reminding us that as the famous proverb went: “Hope is the last to die”.
    Let’s never give up! After a painful event, there is always one that revives our heart!
