Popular mediated cant often declaims that the only worthwhile intelligence must be “action-able.” That’s like saying when the dust settles, authoritative inquiries may deem that whatever matters just needs cleaning up after — as if prudent approaches to horse-training, to child-raising, or to tabling une fine sauce béchamelle must purposefully avoid engaging (living, learning, loving) within momentous events.
Yet “actionable intelligence,” based on quick decision-making, rarely anticipates critical success factors without leaders who, from experience, remonstrate and anticipate ahead of demand. Such leaders know full well that the “proof is in the pudding” and that the “hasty pudding” better incents growth among the sorely tested, regularly bested and preferentially hungry. Such leaders “teach” (that is, they learn, lead, and luminate) by their living and, yes, through their loving examples.
Exemplary leaders enmesh active intelligences on purpose; just so any and all who do align with their purpose may readily meet shifting demands during momentous events. Exemplars put on appropriate mantles of responsiveness, faster results, and resource effectiveness; since they exist to activate what’s actionable (given real climacterics: actual, active intelligences).
‘Jurisprudentially’, leaders exemplify — in lively, loving fashion; on occasion in deep and even high style — the creative tensions and the powerful, shareable purposes that make dreams come true among all folks who do align. The creative energies they draw upon, inside and out, activate what really, truly matters: the kaleidoscope of all our momentous intents. Allelu!
