New Hope, New Year

2020 started as usual, traditions, timeless routine.

Through February work, students achieving.

March – the pandemic

Silent – kind help – given, received

Stress, work, exhaustion – some not working

Time of extremes

Later the floods came

Spring – hope – my son on the Covid ward – contracted and cured

August in England, the sun came out.  People went out.  Ate, socialised.

Autumn work, changes, new peace, the students came first.  Stress and exhaustion.

November – more personal death, panic – love in its grief and entirety

Except we learn of love divine, to no longer seek

More kindness in the form of smiles from a stranger; a positive choice

Moments of calm

Christmas present peace, to give and receive – grow or regress

More floods came

2021 you chose – kind connections or poor choices for health?

Hope, peace and love leads to real joy.  Real gifts of endless life value.
