THE GAUNTLET has been tossed, and the losers are going home, right? That depends on who you selected as the candidates for President. Hillary? Trump? Now the real politics will take over the stage, and you will probably see a different persona. The political game has now gone national, that is to say the next election will be for the White House. Well it’s official Trump wins Indiana primary. What will Cruz do now? He should give it up, but he won’t. still determined that he can win at a contested convention.
To the RNC should be jumping with joy, for now they have a nominee who can win. If you want a stable and prosperous America, I suggest you consider Mr. trump.
With all of the publicity given to the candidates, you would think that some of the facts they spew should be true. In more cases than mentioned this is a misnomer. It is now up to the American people to disprove, or approve a candidate. It is no longer political correct to accept a candidate solely on what they tell you.
Investigate each one and then make up your mind. Is Hillary guilty of misuse of government e-mail servers? Information is on the Webb. Look at it determine its value and move on to the next candidate how realistic is the other one? What he says, is it true? Or is it just a made up fantasy. Research people get your facts straight. Then go out and vote for the candidate that makes sense to you.
I don’t know if Hillary is crooked, as she is referred to by Donald Trump. It is common though where there is smoke usually a fire will persist. What will the outcome be? Can Hillary dodge the e-mail scandal; can she evade Benghazi?
Only time will tell, so people get prepared for a fun and controversial political season. Most political conventions are quite boring, for there is no discord among the candidates. This year is an exception to the rule people there will be plenty of discords and mudslinging. Get ready to have some excitement during the conventions.
I don’t understand why the republican chose Cleveland. It is a very slow-moving city, with hardly any excitement, maybe the rock roll hall of fame. My opinion anyway, have been to Cleveland twice within the past 3 years. It was for business on a couple of properties. It would not be my choice of city for leisure. Then again I don’t believe that the RNC had Donald Trump in mind when they chose the site. If Donald was not running as a candidate then Cleveland would be great established slow convention site,
Oh well what do I know, I am sure that there is someone out there that likes Cleveland. Now back to the story at hand, the political fire storm that will ignite the next generation of political aspirants. Somewhere in this convention, I expect term limits for Senators to creep up in to the forefront. Be brave sponsor the bill, you would become famous overnight. That alone should motivate someone.
Well, now the people of Indiana have spoken and there have been a couple of surprises. Sanders beat Clinton and Cruz dropped out forcing the RNC to admit that Trump is the “probable” candidate.
Alan, I too wondered why Cleveland. But, it may have to do with the Republican need to carry the rust belt states. They need Pa., Ohio, Mich., Minn, and Ind. to win in Nov. Thankfully they didn’t pick Detroit or Chicago. That would have been a sure bet on inducing riots at the convention.
Amen to that. Detroit would have been hilarious
