We often hear the phrase “speaking my truth” as people strive to express themselves and be heard. But truth is more than just personal perspective—it is something deeper, something shared. Yet, beliefs can cloud this truth, shaping how we see the world and each other.
The Essence of Who We Are
As human beings, we are more than just a body and mind—we are also spirit or Essence. This life force, this core of who we are, is energy in flow—untouched by suffering, connected to something greater. Like a drop of water in the ocean, we are all part of the same source.
But in our human experience, we navigate the world through the lens of our beliefs, formed from childhood experiences, cultural norms, and life events. These beliefs help us make sense of the world and protect us, but they also limit us.
How Beliefs Shape Our Reality
To feel safe, we categorize:
- People who look like me are safe.
- People who speak my language are safe.
- People who share my values are safe.
These beliefs don’t emerge from rational thought—they are frozen reactions, shaped by past experiences and reinforced over time. And because we see them as truth, they can feel unshakable.
This is where the challenge lies: when beliefs become rigid, they create division.
- Right or wrong.
- Good or bad.
- Friend or foe.
When we operate from this mindset, we block truth with beliefs—losing the ability to see beyond our conditioned responses.
Shifting Beyond Beliefs
Rather than trying to force a change in beliefs, we can shift the energy frozen within them. When this happens, the world opens up:
- I can be right, and you can be right—even with different views.
- I can be good, and you can be good—even with different choices.
- Our differences don’t have to make us enemies.
When we release the energy trapped in our beliefs, we find peace—and with it, a clearer connection to our shared truth.
The Role of Logosynthesis®
Logosynthesis® offers a path to recognizing and shifting limiting beliefs. The first step is noticing when a belief is blocking truth. Paying attention to the tone of your voice, tension in your body, or distressing emotions can be a sign. From there, using the power of words, you can shift the underlying belief and reclaim a sense of ease.
Instead of reacting from frozen patterns, you can respond from clarity—free to engage with the world without the weight of limiting beliefs.
A Shared Truth
Each of us is Essence—a spark of the divine. When our energy is in flow, we experience truth as love, peace, and connection. But as humans, we also freeze energy in beliefs that shape how we see the world. The key is learning to recognize when we are operating from beliefs rather than from truth.
By shifting these patterns, we open the door to a world where my truth and your truth are one and the same – even with our differing beliefs.
