Dear Lord above

we thank you today

for the family you have given,

the dreams we have received.

We may not accomplish everything,

but at least you have taught us to dream.

We may not all be together today,

but our hearts are a part of each of our lives,

and the love we carry is far and wide.

Thank you for giving us

a life full of love,

happiness and hope

for a better tomorrow.

Thank you for the friends

we have gained,

the peace you give us

even in times of loss.

Thank you for our loved ones,

whether close or far from heart.

Thank you for the food

you have placed on our table today.

Thank you for providing us

with love to light the way.
