In My Final Hour
When we are young, the world is before us open-ended with no finality in sight. As the years go by and we shift from thinking about our future tipping over the line into the second stage heading towards our last days, we may contemplate how our life has been lived.
For me, each passing year brings moments of flashes of my past from birth through the present. Along with this instantaneous visual comes an array of emotions attached to each piece of memory processing in my mind’s story.
Something that always stands out is the thought, this is where I have been, where am I now and what am I going to do with the time left?
Since the day I discovered I had not been living life in authenticity, rather I was sleepwalking within the directives of others, it became my personal mission to understand who I am, what my purpose is and to live life to the fullest to the best of my ability.
Reaching my highest potential is a never-ending process of unraveling who I had become to strengthening the core at the soul level. In my final hour, I wish to have a knowing deep within that I have done everything possible to be compassionate, loving, kind, giving and inspiring for both myself and others.
There is no second act in life, we only get one chance (however long we live).
With age comes wisdom. We can learn from our experiences, guiding us to make choices that bring about joy, peace, and happiness. Along the way, we may say or do something that takes us down a path less desirable, but we always have the opportunity to redirect ourselves.
On the journey, we each are part of the whole. I believe whatever we are seeking is seeking us, and when the higher awareness of the intricate weaving of the matrix is recognized, we can settle into living. Not so much worried about the final hour, but each moment’s breathtaking us a step closer to the inner rhythm.
We are forever expanding our reach into doing more, better, bigger. Yet, sometimes in the simplicity and with less we can connect with the greatness of life and that which is within.
Take a moment to just be, not knowing your final hour, and give gratitude for the gift’s life offers. Your story is an important part of your passage through time as a traveler among the stars.
We are forever expanding our reach into doing more, better, bigger. Yet, sometimes in the simplicity and with less we can connect with the greatness of life and that which is within……………..Powerful Ink yet humble ink in the beautiful simplicity of the words
