Mental Toxicity Diet
We go through life taking in a lot of information and our mind filters, slices, and dices, forming thoughts taking us in various directions.
Having clarity of mind is no easy task.
Going on a mental diet can cure many ailments we may have. The more negative our thinking, the unhealthier our whole bodily system will be. The more positive our thinking, the healthier our life becomes.
Anytime I have needed to clear my head, reboot my thinking or shift my perspectives, I take my mind through a mental toxicity diet.
Just as we start to feel sluggish if we eat too much, eat unhealthy foods or gain a little too much weight, we may put ourselves on a food diet. Well, why not consider our thoughts also can make us feel weighted down and drained. This is a great time to go on a mental toxicity diet.
Recipe for Mental Toxicity Diet:
1 bag of positive thoughts
1 cup of meditation
½ cup of sunshine, nature
¼ cup of letting go of the past
A dash of mindfulness
A pinch of love, peace, and harmony
Use an open mind for placing the ingredients into.
Time to process: 1-3 months
You can use a happiness meter to check if the recipe is done.
Repeat this recipe as often as needed.
Directions:
Empty the positive thoughts, put aside. Place the negative thoughts in the bag and throw away.
Infuse the positive thoughts into the mind.
Add meditation. This will help transform the positive words into reality.
Add sunshine and nature for enhancing the effects of meditation. The more you introduce this into the recipe, the more effective the positive thinking will be.
As you mix the positive thinking, meditation and sunshine/nature, add letting go of the past.
A dash of mindfulness keeps the other ingredients in motion. This is an important ingredient that should not be left out.
A pinch of love, peace, and harmony is all that is needed. This will grow and expand as you stir the mixture and combine all the other ingredients.
Put the mixture in the open mind. Set timer for 1-3 months. You may experience some amazing shifts and the diet takes hold on a more permanent basis.
If there is still some toxicity, you may add more sunshine/nature, love, peace and harmony. You may need to make sure negative thinking did not accidentally make it into the mixture. If this happens, scoop it out and throw it away. Then stir the mixture for enhancement and give it another 1-3 months.
Enjoy!
Eileen,
Most commendable recommendations to detox mentally! In particular, I appreciate ‘scooping out the negativity’ advice towards the end. At times, we inadvertently become negative.

Rajat,
Glad my recommendation is helpful. Human nature tendencies are to lean towards the negative and I encourage people to focus on the positive. We can have a take way from any experience that will empower us vs. disempower us. The choice is ours and the action we take is our responsibility.
Thank you for immersing yourself in my 90 Days of Inspiration. Would love to know any impact it has had for you.

Eileen,
Morning Musings have helped me to change my thought pattern for good. Inadvertantly, I was headed in the other direction. As I go through Morning Musings, I feel more empowered and in perspective and aware of the choices that I have. Laws of opposite, vibration and numbers are real. Most of all, positive thinking is now an essential trait with me. A big thank you, Eileen!

Great story and very positive advice. I think this is a diet we have to stay on as humans we do tend to stray form the path. Great Inspiration.
Thank you Larry! I believe you are correct….it takes practice to stay on the path and pull ourselves back to center. This “diet” can be the difference between feeling good about life and having a pessimistic view. Glad you like it!! Cheers!
