The Intuitive Advantage
What is intuition?
Each of us has the ability to use our sixth senses for decision making, understanding others and creating the life we desire.
Intuition is one sixth sense that can be powerful, useful and a catalyst for success. It is the ability to understand something immediately, without the need for conscious reasoning. We all have gut feelings at various times in our life, but do we really pay attention to them?
Hunches are formed from past experiences and cumulative knowledge gained as a result of learning from these experiences.
When used on purpose, intuition gives us an advantage in strategic thinking and action. It allows us to predict and anticipate what is going to happen.
Consider intuition from the perspective that we function within the conscious realm, but information resides in the subconscious. The brain goes into automatic function, processing stored information along with new input.
I listen to my inner voice, discern the validity of what I “hear” and take action or not, depending on how strongly I feel about what is delivered. For me, intuition is a gift that keeps giving requiring little to no effort.
In stillness and quiet time, my intuition seems to be the strongest. Taking time each morning to just be and listen, a lot of information pours through enabling creative thinking.
I am highly creative, and I attribute my intuitive abilities, which are carefully crafted to be a part of my success in my personal relationships, business and engaging in the world at large.
It seems the practice of mindfulness helps to boost self-knowledge enabling intuition to play a part in daily activities.
With high intuition, being an observer is an advantage. Developing a good sense of the self and others gives you more control over experiences. Give a try, you will see a difference!
Most of all, I let go of negative emotions. This seems to allow intuition to work effectively and easily.
So, pay attention to your gut feelings and trust your intuition. Most likely it is spot on!
