What is Possible?
The only way to discover the limits of the possible is to go beyond them into the impossible.
~ Eileen Bild
Anytime I have thought or considered I could not achieve something; it brings a feeling of disappointment. Life seems to have a way of testing us, to see how far we are willing to go. It dangles the carrot stick ever so close, I can see it and feel it, yet it can appear as it if is out of reach.
But, when I snap out of the “I can’t” thinking, replacing it with the concept that if I were to do “this”, then perhaps the outcome will be what I want, amazing things start to happen. Pieces of the puzzle are thrown out in front of me to place in the frame of what I have envisioned. There are hints along the way, sometimes hard punches, other times clear messages.
When the shift occurs in my mind, I now have the drive to take the steps necessary to move in the direction I wish to go. The universe seems to co-conspire with that inner impulse and the willingness to go along with my thoughts.
Have you ever thought about why things happen the way they do?
For me, there are no coincidences. Everything has a connection, intertwined with the energies of everyone else and their thinking and actions. Kind of mind-boggling when you think about the expansiveness of what makes the world go around. We are all working together on many different levels both in the conscious and subconscious.
Going from the limits of possibility to the impossible making it possible is quite a journey, yet one that is rewarding, exciting and liberating.
A question to ask yourself: What is stopping you? Fear, lack of confidence, you’ve been told it can’t be done or you’re not capable, no one has done it before, the list can go on….
Guess what! All that we know and have from the beginning of time came into existence because of the spark of a thought. Consider what you are thinking today and how it lines up with what you want. The impossible is possible!!!
@Eileen Bild, this is not only very empowering an article, but it holds a facinating mystery that slowly unfolds itself to me.
– ‘For me, there are no coincidences. Everything has a connection, intertwined with the energies of everyone else and their thinking and actions.’ – so far, I reckoned we have a choice. But what you’ve written has elements of pre-ordainment. Simply put it is.. ‘why am I thinking what I am thinking’ -Are we sub-consciously induced to think the way we do?
– ‘All that we know and have from the beginning of time came into existence because of the spark of a thought’ – Our cognitive evolution began with a spark. So true!
Rajat,
Thank you! I am glad you find this to be empowering. Yes, we do have choice….the question is why do we make the choices we make? For me it is a combination of experience, emotional attachment, support/lack thereof, belief, perception, influence, understanding, knowledge, awareness, conscious/subconscious/superconscious, and many layers in-between.
Ahhh…the spark of a thought. I like to say, we are still, in silence and in the now, with no movement until a thought comes alive. This can be a word, an image, a feeling. Then, there is a momentum of action that follows, with reaction then stillness again. The cycle perpetuates based on the outcome…you get more of the same. Until the thought changes….
Cheers!
Eileen
Brilliantly explained, Eileen!
Kudos to you 🙂
Oh this is excellent! I want to write out your last two sentences just so I can read it over and over again.
