Finally, if you want to just settle down with a book and get lost in the pages, this is an excellent way of reducing stress. It pulls you away from your own life and worries for a little while, and instead, you are in the life of someone else. Obviously, this isn’t a full-time solution, but it can give you that calm when you need it.
