“Love hurts!” … “I have lost love”…. “You complete me”
What terrible lies have we been brought up with about love? In songs, movies, art and books, and people around us who had no clue what love really is. It made us fear love, run away from it, shut doors, build huge walls and towers to protect us from love and looked for it in all the wrong places.
Love does not hurt. The opposite! It helps to heal wounds. It opens doors, takes our hand when we are afraid of what is on the other side. It comforts, tickles, is warm, gentle, kind, is your best friend, creates steaming passion, and is always here. Inside.
True love does not want to change you, because it sees you. The true you! It wants to help you expand on that truth and encourages you to be your best self. It is a commitment without rings. It is simply saying: “I see you. I love the true you and I am here with you. I will do anything in my power to take care of that beautiful truth that you are. I will nurture it with all of my might.
I, the love that I am, want to share the love that I am with you. Not because you need it, because you are already love yourself. But because it feels really good being with you and sharing the love that I am.
Love cannot be lost, not even when the other one for whatever reason, is not open to receive that love, simply because they have not been taught that they ARE love! How can you lose something that you in essence are?
No one can complete you. As we are all part of the oneness, we are already complete, but sometimes we meet someone of what I call, of the same color. Of the same frequency. That in essence, we share that same frequency. Then there is synergy. One has a plan, the other adds something and it makes it even better. You can tell when that happens because your whole body starts tingling. Rushes of excitement run through you. As your essence recognizes you are on to something great, meant for you! Like music and lyrics together create a great song. They both are whole and beautiful together already. They don’t NEED each other in a sense of filling up a void. But together they are better.
Love does not hurt. It is here to help you become a better version of you. We can run away from it, block it, push it, or built the highest tower, but then we will miss out on all the beautiful lessons and moments of expansion hidden in the interactions, triggers, and communication. It helps to reveal the non-truths, the believes, and fears we carry since childhood. Love helps us in a gentle and ever so loving way to clear these non-truths and return to our source self. Which is freedom and joy, love, bravery, creative. Good enough! Beautiful!
So let’s connect to the love that we are. Open up if your heart feels closed and let’s see what is on the other side. Are you coming with me?
